Curriculum vitae

Born in 1974, Mr. Böttcher studied at the Europa-Universität Viadrina (European University Viadrina). In 2001, he was admitted to practice as an attorney and has been working with TSP since then. He became a partner of the firm in 2004 and was admitted to practice at the Kammergericht (Regional Court of Berlin) in 2006. He has focused on the laws governing zoning and construction and on real estate law. Mr. Böttcher has gained extensive specialized knowledge in the field of architect law. He has special expertise in the laws governing architects’ fees and liability as a result of his comprehensive consultancy practice and litigation experience throughout Germany. In particular, he has assisted in major litigation in matters governed by zoning and construction law and architect law. He represents institutional investors and public corporations alike. He has lectured on the laws governing zoning and construction and on commercial landlord-tenant law and has co-authored several specialist books. He has published numerous contributions on private construction and on real estate law.
