Jens Böttcher

Mr. Böttcher completed his legal studies at the European University Viadrina (Frankfurt Oder) and was admitted to the bar in 2001. He has been working as a staff attorney at TSP ever since, becoming a partner in 2004. He was admitted to practice before the Kammergericht (Berlin Higher Regional Court) in 2006 and obtained his certification as a specialist attorney for construction law as well as architect law in 2010. His focal points as a consultant are on construction law as well as real estate law. He is a proven expert in architecture law, with a particular emphasis on the laws governing fees and liability. He has consulted on a wide range of topics and garnered many years of experience in litigating cases all over Germany on behalf of private-sector clients and public-law entities, especially major legal actions in-volving construction law as well as architect law. He has lectured extensively on construction law, architect law, and the laws governing the scale of fees for architects. He has co-written numerous technical publications and authored various articles on construction law as well as real estate law. He is a member of the Deutsche Baugerichtstag association of legal practi-tioners active in the field of construction law and of developers.
